The 2015 WNC Fly Expo

Okay so I think our heads have stopped spinning. The 2015 WNC Fly Expo is over, and what a weekend! Any exhibitor can tell you the planning and anxiety going into a show is always way more than ever needed. But the show went off without a hitch, and we were able to meet many great new faces and of course get our flies into the hands of some eager fishermen. We want to say thank you to everyone who organized the event and we also wanted to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and purchased something from us. So lets talk highlights of the show, first off the show was stacked with exhibitors, some great rod companies including Clutch Fly Rods, multiple fly shops and guides and of course us! We were able to sit down with Rob Snowhite and get a little excerpt for his pod cast and on the second day he returned to help us with our crowd sourced fly experiment! A Squatch donning a Southern Culture On the Fly tee even stopped by and added a little of himself to our crowd sourced fly! I have to say that everyone at the show was awesome and the cohort of individuals representing the current fly fishing industry smashes the old stereotype of uptight men in tweed suits of a superior class. Beers were drank, flies were tied and new friends were made. Thanks again WNC Fly Expo we'll be back!
